Master’s in Public Administration

The General MPA Degree

Historically, a general Master’s in Public Administration prepared students for a career in the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of government as managers and administrators of public policy. But in recent years, management opportunities for MPA degree holders have grown in the private sector and non-profit organizations as well. An MPA degree focuses on management principals and other interdisciplinary skills to prepare students to work across jurisdictions and departments.
